Beginning

I was in the tanning bed this morning, semi-meditating and it came to me that I need to do a blog. Another blog? A different blog! A blog for me and something that will help me and my family. I was big into the couponing thing but that was taking away from my motherly/wifely duties. So I can do that on my own still but a new blog is a good idea!

I know there's many blogs like this out there--- mothers of children in the autism spectrum. But my son is only 2 1/2 so we are at the very beginning of our journey. We have been doing therapies for a year now. Speech for a year, OT for maybe 6 months and a psych eval about a month ago. it is so draining but maybe this is my calling. I'm slowly learning about all of this as well as about myself. I AM AN ADVOCATE FOR MY SON! I am teaching MY parents about something- and I think dealing with them (no offense to them) has been the hardest thing for me. Actually I know it is. But we can talk about that later.

This is for me, you, us, all of us who just want to know WE ARE NOT ALONE. There's a plethora of info out there but I hope I can help you in just a small way. We all want the same thing. To help our kids be the best THEY can be.
